The first Tacos Mario's was opened in 1970 in Mexico City by Mr. Mario Martinez
From a family rooted in the restaurant business and a deep love for authentic Mexican food, Mario and Elvia decided to bring a piece of Mexico to Chicago by opening the first Tacos Mario’s in South Chicago in 1993.
